When I work with recycled textiles, I let them speak to me: revealing the paths…Sometimes, they guide me with their textures, colors, and histories; shaping the direction of my work. Other times, I take the lead, allowing an emotion, a fleeting thought, or an inner state to imprint itself onto the fabric.
